Specialty Doctor in Breast Radiology

Temporary Staffing Agency TSA Limited is seeking an experienced and dedicated Specialty Doctor in Breast Radiology for a 1-year contract based in the scenic region of Devon, UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an established SAS doctor or an experienced radiologist looking for a stable, long-term locum placement within a supportive and well-equipped breast care unit.

Role Overview

Position: Specialty Doctor in Breast Radiology

Location: Devon, UK

Duration: 1-Year Fixed-Term

Contract Agency: TSA Ltd

Schedule: Full-time (negotiable job plan)

Key Responsibilities

💠Symptomatic Screening Work: Provide high-quality reporting on mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI.

💠Interventional Procedures: Independently perform ultrasound-guided core biopsies, fine-needle aspirations (FNAs), and pre-operative wire or seed localizations.

💠MDT Collaboration: Active preparation for and participation in weekly Breast Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings.

💠Clinic Support: Support one-stop symptomatic clinics and assessment clinics to meet regional two-week-wait (2WW) targets.

Requirements and Qualifications

💠GMC Registration: Full registration with a license to practise is essential.

💠Clinical Experience: Minimum of 12–24 months of dedicated experience in UK breast imaging or equivalent.

💠Competency: Evidence of independent practice in standard breast interventional procedures (ultrasound-guided biopsy/localization).

💠Right to Work: Valid right to work in the UK.
