TSA LTD – Monthly Candidate Newsletter

Thank you for your continued hard work and dedication. Whether you’re supporting patients in the NHS or in Nursing Homes, your professionalism and commitment make a real difference every single day. Here’s what’s happening this month at TSA LTD.

Recording Is Part of the Job

Accurate and timely documentation is a professional and legal requirement.

Please remember:

  • Always follow local recording and reporting procedures

  • Records may be completed in more than one system, depending on the service

  • Incident reporting tools such as Datix must be used where required

  • If you are unsure where or how to record, ask the nurse in charge or your supervisor

Good documentation protects patients, you, and the organisation.

St George’s Day – 23 April

St George’s Day is a celebration of England’s culture, values and heritage. It’s also a great opportunity to reflect on the compassion, courage and resilience demonstrated daily by our healthcare professionals.

Thank you for representing these values while caring for patients and residents across all settings.

Nurse of the Month – Abraham Annor

Congratulations to Abraham Annor, our Nurse of the Month.

Abraham has been recognised for:

  • Outstanding professionalism

  • Consistently high standards of patient care

  • A positive and supportive attitude across placements

Thank you, Abraham, for being a credit to TSA LTD and to the profession.

Compliance Reminder

To remain compliant and continue working with TSA LTD, the following must be kept up to date:

  • Annual Appraisal – every 12 months

  • Supervision – every 6 months

  • If your appraisal or supervision is due, please book this as soon as possible. Our compliance team is happy to help with scheduling or any queries.

Email or call us if you’re unsure about your compliance status.

Meningitis – Know the Signs

Meningitis can progress very quickly, and early recognition can save lives. As frontline healthcare staff, your awareness is vital.

Key symptoms to look out for include:

  • Severe headache

  • Fever and vomiting

  • Neck stiffness

  • Sensitivity to light

  • Confusion or drowsiness

  • Cold hands and feet, pale or mottled skin

  • A rash that doesn’t fade when pressed (late sign)

If you are concerned about a patient, act immediately and escalate to senior clinical staff without delay.

May Bank Holiday

Please be aware of the upcoming May Bank Holiday.

  • Shifts may attract enhanced rates depending on the setting

  • Demand is often high, so book early where possible

  • If you are unavailable, please update your availability promptly

Contact the bookings team if you have any questions.

Thank you once again for your dedication and flexibility. We’re proud to work with you and appreciate everything you do for patients and teams every day.
