Keep Your Availability Updated

To help us secure the best shifts for you, it is essential that your availability is kept up to date.

Providing your availability in advance allows our bookings team to:

  • Offer you more suitable shifts

  • Reduce last-minute booking calls

  • Match you with preferred locations and working patterns

  • Support our clients with safe staffing levels

If your availability changes, please let us know as soon as possible. Early communication helps us maximise your earning opportunities and ensures we can continue delivering excellent service to our clients.

The more visibility we have of your availability, the more opportunities we can offer you.

Early planning helps you secure preferred shifts and ensures smooth service delivery.

Professional Practice Reminder – Medication, Processes & Behaviour

Patient safety remains our highest priority.

We would like to remind all candidates of the importance of following safe working practices at every placement.

Shift Cancellations

When you provide your availability, please ensure you clearly communicate when and where you are NOT available to work.

Our clients rely on the information provided when allocating shifts. Once a shift has been sent to you and confirmed, it is considered booked.

Please be aware that repeated cancellations can impact service delivery and patient care. Candidates who cancel three booked shifts may be subject to a one-month booking restriction by the Trust.

To help avoid this:

  • Keep your availability up to date

  • Clearly advise the bookings team of any locations or shift types you cannot work

  • Inform us promptly of any changes to your circumstances

Reliability and clear communication help maintain strong relationships with our clients and maximise your future booking opportunities.

 Medication Administration

  • Before administering any medication, ensure that:

  • You are authorised and competent to do so

  • Local policies and procedures are followed

  • Medication is checked thoroughly before administration

  • Any concerns are escalated immediately

Never rush the medication process, even during busy periods.

 Following Processes

Please ensure that you:

  • Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner

  • Follow local clinical procedures and escalation pathways

  • Report incidents, concerns, or errors appropriately

  • Maintain professional standards at all times

Professional Behaviour

All candidates are expected to:

  • Treat patients, service users, and colleagues with respect

  • Communicate professionally at all times

  • Demonstrate accountability for their actions

  • Uphold the values and reputation of TSA LTD

Your professionalism and commitment to safe practice help protect patients, colleagues, and your own professional registration.

Thank you for continuing to provide safe, compassionate, and professional care across all of your placements.

Annual References – Protect Your Ability to Earn

Did you know that keeping your annual references updated can directly impact your ability to work and earn?

Many of our clients require up-to-date references as part of their compliance standards. If references become overdue or cannot be obtained, this may result in:

  • Delays in shift bookings

  • Restrictions on where you can work

  • Temporary suspension from certain assignments

  • Reduced earning opportunities

To avoid disruptions, please respond promptly if our Compliance Team contacts you regarding reference updates.

Keeping your references current helps ensure:

  • Full compliance with client requirements

  • Continued access to available shifts

  • Faster onboarding for new placements

  • Uninterrupted earning potential

A quick response can help prevent delays and keep you working.
