Locum Band 6 Podiatrist – Shrewsbury

Temporary Staffing Agency (TSA) is recruiting an experienced Band 6 Podiatrist to join an NHS service in Shrewsbury on a locum basis.

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 4 Weeks

Location: Shrewsbury

Working Pattern: Full Time

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Band 6 Podiatrist to provide high-quality assessment, treatment, and management of patients presenting with a range of podiatric conditions.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering evidence-based care and supporting patients to improve mobility, manage foot health, and achieve positive clinical outcomes. The role may involve managing a varied caseload including routine, high-risk, and musculoskeletal podiatry patients, depending on service needs.

Requirements

• HCPC-registered Podiatrist

• Previous experience working at Band 6 level or equivalent

• Experience managing a varied podiatry caseload

• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills

• Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively

• Excellent communication and patient care skills

• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team

• Strong documentation and organisational skills

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

• Must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the assignment
